FastEx Tracking Number: Where to Find It and How to Check It
How to spot your FastEx tracking number, where to find it on a receipt or in a shop’s SMS, and how it differs from a shop order number.
What Is a FastEx Tracking Number?
Every parcel booked with a courier gets its own number, often called a CN, tracking ID or airway bill number. It may be all digits or a mix of letters and digits. It links your parcel to the sender, the delivery address, what is inside, the weight and how it is being paid for.
Without this number, the courier cannot find your parcel. Online shops also make their own order numbers, which are different. So it helps to know which one is the real FastEx tracking number.
Where to Find Your FastEx Tracking Number
Check these places, depending on whether you sent the parcel or ordered something online:
Merchant Dispatch SMS
When you buy from an online shop that uses FastEx, you usually get an SMS when the parcel leaves the warehouse. It names the courier (FastEx) and gives the tracking number.
Printed Booking Receipt
If you handed in a parcel at a FastEx Express Center or counter, you got a printed receipt. The tracking number is just below or above the barcode.
Flyer Shipping Label
On the parcel itself, FastEx flyers have a plastic pouch holding the shipping note. The tracking number is printed in plain text under the barcode, and it also appears on the seller’s delivery invoice.
Shop Order Number vs FastEx Tracking Number
People often type the shop’s order number into the tracker by mistake. These are two different numbers:
Examples: #ORD-94821, INV-2026-004.
Made by the shop’s website for its own records. FastEx cannot find your parcel with it.
Format: its own number, made when the parcel label is booked.
Stored in FastEx’s system. This is the only number that shows where your parcel is, the hub scans and when a rider has it.
How to Type Your Tracking Number
When you type your tracking number into FastEx’s own site at fastex.pk, follow these tips:
- Avoid Whitespace: If you copy it from an SMS or email, make sure you do not copy extra spaces before or after it. Extra spaces can stop the search working.
- Character Case: If the number has letters, type them as capitals, as printed on the receipt.
- No Special Symbols: Do not add # signs (
#), colons or quote marks unless they are part of the printed number. - Look-alike characters: Look closely at characters that look alike, such as zero (
0) and the letterO, or one (1) and the letterI.

If you lost your receipt or never got an SMS, try these steps:
Contact the Originating Seller
The shop always has a record of the booking. Contact the shop with your order number and ask for your FastEx tracking number.
Contact FastEx with your details
If you booked the parcel yourself at an Express Center, call or visit that branch. Tell them the sender’s name, the receiver’s phone number, the booking date and the city it went to. Staff can look up your number.
Keep Your Tracking Number Private
A tracking number can reveal the delivery city, contact details and the COD amount. Do not post it on social media, public review sites or websites you do not trust.
